Sidewalk Program at the Circle, Downtown Indianapolis

Saturday, May 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Thanks to the generous support of business owner Donna Yarema, I will be performing on the sidewalk in front of Teapots 'n' Treasures on Saturday evening, May 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on the eve of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race. I will be showcasing some of my best American Songbook Standards guitar-and-vocal repertoire, and selections from the jazz CD "A Place to Dream" with backing tracks from the recordings. I will also perform several original songs in the smooth-jazz and swing styles, including two new ones slated for my next CD project, "The View from the Blue Room."

Teapots...is a lovely small shop located at 7 East Market Street, just a few feet off Monument Circle, around the corner from Hilbert Circle Theatre. Donna, her daughter Shirlee, and her father Harley, are fans and friends. Donna is "the Tea Lady;" she provides all the teas for the Canterbury Hotel. The business is based on teapots and Donna's special flavored tea blends, while the shop is loaded with beautiful decorative items, jewelry, antiques, cards and gifts, and art by local artists. Brick Street Gallery Walk in Zionsville

Friday, June 26 from 6-10 pm

I will be performing at this year's "Gallery Walk" in Zionsville, on Friday, June 26, in the evening, between 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. in front of Zionsville Lighting & Firehouse Antiques; the address is 85 E Cedar. The Brick Street Gallery Walk is a big event, held annually on Main Street in Zionsville, with its many art galleries, restaurants, antique shops, gift shops, etc. If you have never seen this beautifully-preserved (or restored) quaint section of the old town of Zionsville, or even if you HAVE, the Gallery Walk event is a must for a lovely mid-summer evening in one of Central Indiana's most beautiful places.
